Is TGY-306G-HV servo reliable?

Hi guys,
simple question..
is TGY-306G-HV servo reliable enough?
I mean can I use in for tail control on my Tarot 450 pro v2 fbl with sufficient duration?

Just installed one on my HK450, at first use it's a very nice servo for the price.

by duration do you mean how many flights will it last? how many crashes it will survive?

In my search for a decent tail servo over the last couple of weeks i came across these.
Reviews around the net say there not much chop. Some people have some success but i found more negative than positive reviews.
Enough that i have steered clear.
I think that if you happen to get a good one, theyre good. But QC is an issue and a lot of them are sub-par.

yes, I mean how many flights it will last.
and also I'd like to know if somebody experimented any unusual response during flight.

I installed four of them in my AS350. I don't really have much time on them. They run really smooth. The tail servo was running a little warm but I think I got that sorted out, time will tell. So far I like them really well Ed

always see it to believe it. check out youtube there's a lot of videos of it

Tarot 3axis Gyro Ver 3.5 Trex450pro TGY-306G servo (4 min 30 sec)

4 : Tarot 450 Pro V2 Build : Turnigy S306G-HV Servos (13 min 55 sec)

MSH MINI PROTOS (4 min 33 sec)

ALZRC DEVIL 480 FAST pilot mitsos3d (2 min 11 sec)

It's just like the MKS don't do any hard landings and avoid a crash as much as possible, the fate will be the same as the mks only cheaper. good luck!

I don't worry about damage in a crash, after wrecking one, and having trouble finding a replacement gear set in stock that wouldn't take 2 weeks to get to the UK, I remembered I had these http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...4925&aff=94757 Fitted them, redid my set up had two bad crashes since and haven't damaged a servo...these arms just break and they fly just like the old ones. They have to go on the last hole though

I love TGY 306G servos. They are much tougher than MKS DS92 which can strip in flight (not recommended for FBL by MKS and discontinued). If you want MKS get DS95.

One of 306G became silent yesterday. I did not check if it is related to broken cable yet. Anyway those servos survive crashes. I was not able to strip gears.

Any servo can fail. I use them in three 450 PRO and in some planks.

This is rebranded KST servo.

Finally we have good and relatively cheap servos for 450.

I use 335mm blades and plan to stretch to 360mm and/or 380mm.

Don't read too much into the reviews on the HK product pages. There are clearly many
idiots who buy heli stuff, use it improperly and then write (usually dyslexic) negative reviews.
