guys, any recommendation of what radio frequency to use for long range FPV?
I have got Spektrum DX7 & JR 9XII 36mhz / 72mhz modules (72mhz not legal in AU anyway..). I thought about UHF modules from overseas but in AU only maximum of 5mw is allowed for 433 UHF range.. : (

with the 36mhz I'm worried by the potential interference, wouldn't want to crash my 1.96m glider with all the equipments no where.

The only frequency that is legal in AU is 10mW 2.4G.

We have just got the Fat Shark kits approved and are now completely Legal in Australia when you buy them from us.

The kit comes with the TX and Goggles with built it RX, and everything you need.

I was wondering would I face problems with customs when coming for a tour here with all that FPV gear. Noted that some guys are flying on 1.2/1.3 Ghz or others. I have yet to purchase my video TX/RX. One of the main motivations is to fly FPV while on a tour in Oz. You do have a lot of beautiful scenery there.

I suppose it is like the old saying... it is not a problem, unless you get caught - But I wouldn't like to.
