30mm Twin EDF Wing

Well, I designed this a while ago for the Hyperflow 56mm but I never got around to build it. Now with the Hyperflow 30mm available it seemed like a no brainer. The model is designed in SolidWorks and will be cut on my CNC machine.

It's a twin flying wing that will use the 30mm fan , GP motor and ESC and a Tactic Rx and servos with an Anylink module attached to my Futaba. The battery will be a 360 or 460 mAh 2S Rhino.

I am curious to see how a twin compares to the single engine micro EDFs I've done until now.

Anyway, due to time constraints I am not sure how long it will take me to get it done, so be patient if you are interested.

Way cool! Put that canopy out on a rear boom and it sorta looks like a pod racer from SW. :-p

Well, I had some issues with my CNC machine and I had to restart the cut. I decided that cutting up the plane in smaller sections would make it easier to get it done so this is the center fuse with nacelles that I got done last night.

The machine is busy for work now, so I can only use it late at night. Progress will be slow, but it will happen!

Yes, slightly modified to get the trailing edge gap I needed for the foam.
