Scott,
You will be fine with a bungee. You have more wing area than the Electrolyte so that isn't an issue. Even at a pound and a half I would guess your performance with this 40mm fan will still be very good. Your fuselage could have been a lot lighter but its good for an initial prototype. I personally have been very happy with the CC Talon 35 Esc in my Electrolytes. It's the thinnest 35 amp esc available although I believe this fan tops out in the 25 amp range.

soooooo........ I WANT THIS. BADLY. I like the smallness of sub 50mm EDFs, while I also like tons 'o speed. This is like perfect for me. Any ideas on price? And is ARF the only package availble? No BNF or PNP?

Glad you like it! Its available in ARF form only. This is in an effort to keep the costs down and not cut corners with low quality electronics. Fortunately this ARF is easy to assemble with the instructions Paul and myself have collaborated on.

The Electrolyte by HK has not been released yet but will be in ARF form only. It will be announced in the thread when its available for purchase. I believe the kits are currently in transit. Maybe Paul can chime in since I am not the HK rep….just the developer.

Ah. Thank you. I was confused for a minute. "Kits currently in transit" means they will be available soon™ right?
