Test my 4s 14p 18650 Li-ion and 433mhz Yagi TX today,
Broke my personal record, 115km LOS,
The 433 Yagi is awesome, 90% rssi at 115km,
Now I got to work on video tx.

Hi BadSide84, I am using Rlink 433 (now called MFD 433)
The best part of this LRS is I can change the fail safe setting when the plane is flying.

It's very useful when changing antennas. Like changing from stock antenna to Yagi, I have to switch off the TX. So I set the fail safe mode to the current flying mode, and switch off the TX, the plane will fly as it was before I switched off the TX. The only difference is the rssi dropped to 0 and regained again. (The youtube video at 41 second)

I also use Rlink (aka MFDLink) as it is a phenomenal UHF system, but to be fair, pretty much
all UHF systems allow you to record the failsafe positions on the fly.

BTW, judging by your virtually unchanging RSSI value, I suspect you have your RSSI output
set for packet loss mode, rather than Rf RSSI. In packet loss mode it will indicate 100% as
long as it's not dropping packets. In Rf RSSI mode you will *definitely* see it dropping
with distance, no matter how much gain you have on the Tx antenna. Rf RSSI
is a logarithmic scale, so it will drop quickly at first and then level out. If you're scaling
0-3V to 0-100%, then you'll likely see it drop into the 65-70% range almost immediately,
and at the very limits of your range, it'll be somewhere around 25-30%.

Can switch modes by tapping the Rx bind button briefly once within
the first 15 seconds after power-up. It will remember that mode
on subsequent powerups.
