"BTW do you fly with a monitor or goggles? I myself have a black pearl 7" monitor, but Im considering to buy a pair of goggles soon.''

No goggles, I have a 14 inch 12 volt monitor. 1st FPV flight is planned for tomorrow.

Are you using an OSD? Spotter?

I have a Cyclops Storm not installed, will do that later. Yes I will have a fellow pilot as a spotter.

It went well, my spotter cancelled at the last minute so I had to do it solo which was a bit of a challenge. (trying to keep 1 eye on the plane) I did not push it to much. I figure I was out about 300 metres at about 100 meters high, video was still good. I guess having the OSD hooked up would have helped. I am off work next week and hope to do some serious FPV flying. Hopefully my RunCam will arrive this week and I can get some good video.

Here is a link to the raw 1st FPV flight video

SUNP0001 (4 min 49 sec)

That field is actually not to bad, it is a lot bigger than I thought and the south end is open so I just do my approaches from that end. If the weather cooperates tomorrow I am going to meet up with a experienced FPV pilot to do some flying out in the valley.
