Engine temps in hover & post stall

It's 5 or 8 cooler this week. Only 88 so far. Engine temp maximum recorded at 315 last week. I added some baffling to the right port. 8g total add of epp foam currled and formed to force all the air to go over the engine. I just got done flying first flight and maximum temp was 282

Note to self. Remember not to wrap vent tube under pipe. CF does get quite hot.
It didn't seal up until it cooled down. I was like, why is it so hard to pump the gas in.

Did you pick up the EPP locally or did you order it online?

Online. I think its 8mm and whick worked great cause its in 2 pieces edge glued with welders glue. I used it like contact cement. You could probably do it with 4mm EPP sheeting also.

I did manage to get it to 315 doing a bunch of waterfall to parachute s in a row but a little airspeed cooled it back down way faster that it would so that may be the real improvement.

I just noticed somthing around the house. Since nobody makes a nice 24 ounce square fuel tank. If you want like a fortitude or Fiji bottle you're stuck with 16 or 32. I found this bottle is square feels pretty solid it's not 24 ounces but it's 28 so little smaller than your 32.
