Hey Roger:

This is a great idea because it enables me to dip into my files and share some of my work from about 5 years ago when I was doing some AP. Here's one of my favorites.

Hi Neil,

LTNS! I seem to recal you had another shot of the Bay Bridge looking back at the City but would you have one of the Eastern span? Since the new span is taking shape, it would be a neat idea to have a before-and-after photo of that side of the bridge.

Thanks for sharing, I'll add your post to the index at the first post in this thread.

RMihara How do you have your camera mounted to your Banchee? Do you have a few pics of your setup?
Thanks Dave

I have one of the east span around here somewhere, but I can't find it right now. I will check my computer at home and post it if it turns up.

Thanks Neil, that would be a great series of pictures to include in this thread.

Hang on Dave, I'll get a shot of my current set-up posted soon.

Thank you Roger
I have the Lil' Banche and i love the way it flys.
I am just now getting into AP. I was thinking about buying the Pentax Optio s6 and put it on the full size Banchee.
Dave.

Neil,

I see you found "the place"! Welcome, will this spark your interests to do AP again?

Brian,

Coit Tower is doable and so are a great number of other locations on your list. But, I don't know if Sutro Tower on Twin Peaks is a good idea. With all those UHF, VHF and hi-power microwave antennas on the tower, it might make for a glitchy experience!

When I did the Wharf photo-shoot, I stopped by Lombard St for a looksie. It's really tight in there but...

My cousin lives near Lombard,(Leavenworth and Lombard) and own a building on the winding part of the Lombard, I will see if I can get to the roof and fly.

Also his back yard open to the neighborhood park.

Hey Brian,

I saw a multi-court tennis facility kitty-corner to the entrance of Lombard. It might be possible to launch from that area.
