The airfoil of a flying wing?
[SIZE="3"]I was wondering where I could find a pattern of an airfoil I could use for a hot wire cutter to make a flying wing. I was hoping to make it around 45" total wingspan.

That's an awfully broad question. Depending on the type of 'wing there are a bunch of airfoils you can use. The MH 45 AND PW 51 are popular but there are dozens of others that will work. The most important number is the moment coefficient, abbreviated Cm. Here's a source of coordinates and characteristic data. http://airfoiltools.com/

A few suggestions:
1. I would use this technique for cutting the wings
2. Make the template about 0.5-1.0mm larger all around because the wire will cut more than its own diameter depending on its temperature.
3. If you're going to use the cut foam for the elevons, don't make the trailing edge too thin. No thinner than about 3mm. Elevons out of balsa can have TE of 2mm or so.
4. You might know this already, but the pic shows two methods of hinging the elevons.
