Ok so I've decided to put Savox servos in my 89" Slick. I order the MPI aluminum servo arms from my LHS. I was told that the arms should be Futuba. I pick the arms up today, went to mount them and the hole where the arm mounts to the servo is to small for the screw to go threw. Anyone have some insight and if these truly are not the right arms. Which ones should I get for the Savox servos?

Whatever you do, do NOT use the MPI arms. The air week and they will bend. SWB makes a much better arm.

Futaba splines are right... you want a 4-40 bolt hole. SpotOnRc arms are what I personally use and recommend for number of reasons, not the least of which is that they're dead sexy. 1.5" arms are ideal.

I'd probably go with theKMs tip, but I can verify I used SWB Futaba arms on my 87" with Savox servos.

I too love the Spot-on arms, and have them on a lot (most) of my planes...

+1 on the spot on arms. they look great and perform well. i did have to slightly drill out the screw hole on my swb arm for my savox servo. they must use a larger screw.

Any word on when we can expect flight videos of the new 70 velox? i am dying to see that scheme in the air so i can decide between both of the awesome looking colors. I have heard nothing but good things about the velox in the past and as soon as i can afford it i would like to get one and put the 4325 out of my 71 in it so i have an excuse to put a 5320 in my 71.

I'm using the MPI arms on the 87shp and they are doing fine so far with about 12 gallons worth of flights on the Hitec 7955 servos.

Having fun with the 3dhs 87" Extra SHP (10 min 4 sec)
