Loyalhanna carries Saito Steam engines:

Stuart Models has rough castings, machined castings and assembled steam engines, as well as boilers and cetera

MiniSteam carries Jensen, Mamod and Wilesco steam engines:

And that's all I have thus far.

I do like the idea of castings for a build-it-y'self steam engine...

A suggestion: it might be better to have a few words of explanation besides each link, such as "steam engines", "boilers", "fitings" etc.

And congratulations for the new steam section!

Tugfan, the Midwest Heritage kit (motor and boiler, ready to go after 1/2 hr setup) costs about $120 at Tower Hobbies. I've used, or seen, them power several models: 4' tramp steamer, 2' sternwheeler, G-gauge loco, LegoLoco, Lego Crane (ran on air).
