First Car/Truck

http://www.nitrorcx.com/ingrmotr14wd.html

I want to get this as my first RC Car/Truck:

I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to cars , but I would really like one to have for when I can't fly my planes.

I want to keep it under 200 bucks , and Gas , if possible.

Is the link I gave a good truck ?

Or any other suggestions , any information I need to know ?

well that could be a good truck, but parts avalibility will be a huge issue, so that's why i'm reccomending the traxxas slash. you can get parts for it at just about every hobbyshop, and it has it's own racing class at a lot of tracks.

forgot to mention that the slash is electric, but with todays battery technology you can get huge run times. if you go with the slash some good batteries for it are this: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s..._20C_Lipo_Pack and this:http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s..._25C_Lipo_Pack lipo is the way to go and this is also a good charger: http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

Here are the three I like they are very high priced , but now I see its worth it.

Are these any good ?

Which is the best for the money.

the savage is a great truck for begginers, it was for me! the nitro mosterking looks good, but it's pullstart. the savage comes with rotostart. much easier. and i know nothing about the stampede.

Seems you are not into racing, then you must be a basher, who doesn't? LOL
Choose the one that have parts backup at nearby LHS, if you gonna bang it hard.
Electric or nitro or gas, I prefer with gasoline but until now I don't have one.
Electrics beat nitros in speed, and gonna expensive if you bought heavy vehicle, prepare to spend on decent lipo, motor and esc.
Stadium truck and buggy setup cost less than a monster.

I just want to have something to have for home to bash around , and have some fun with. No racing here.

What is wrong with a pull-start. What is so hard about pulling a string ?

I like the firestorm , cause its cheaper , and looks like it will preform well.

if the car isn't tuned wel you will hate the pull start. and it's harder to prime. the firestorm will handle better. but the savage will take a beating and just keep going!
