Worked on getting a better understanding of how the Cellpro Dual Powerlab charger operates. There are still so many functions to learn.

Also printed a bunch of labels with my name, address, AMA number and FAA registration number and started affixing them to my models.

That's enough aeromodeling excitement for one day...

I printed up my FAA license to go in my wallet but haven't started putting it on planes yet. My R/C adventure today was tearing down the Ruckus to figure out why the front wheels weren't being powered. Got it figured out but waiting to clean it before putting it back together.

For an ARF man, you sure do a lot of work on things.

I can see it, right before dusk, wind has died down, putting around the patch, low and slow and quiet. You'll get hooked on a different kind of flying. It's sublime.

Well I'm butchering this thing together in my spare time. Be lucky if it flies straight. That Piece O' Cake I had was good for flying like that until I got stupid, dove it into the ground and turned it into a POS.

Maybe I'm just too easily amused, but this stuff is cracking me up.

Explosive belt and Jihad accessories optional.

I know. Had a lot of bench time on things lately for some reason.

Looking at the long-range forecast doesn't look good for flying this weekend. Saturday looks to be a high of 36F with winds topping 16 MPH. Sunday is going to be a high of 31 and 10 MPH winds. I like the cold but no, thank you. That will give me time to work on the F-14. It's still in the car from Saturday.

**edit** There's a swap shop this weekend, isn't there? Would be good to go to one that since it's too cold to fly.

**edit2** It's Statesville. Anyone going? Dave?

I've not been too keen on the NN swap shop, but I'm sure some of our club members will be going. As of right now I plan on making the drive to Statesville, unless there's precipitation in the forecast. I won't be selling, just going to look around.

My Graphene batteries came in yesterday. 5 days from Hong Kong, that's pretty quick. I plan on putting APPSs on them today, and maybe do a couple of charge/discharge cycles for "break in". I don't usually do that, and I don't know if it really does anything, but some people still recommend it.

As of right now, I plan on going to Statesville. Newport News is too far of a drive for me. Weather is forecast to be clear from now until Monday afternoon. Understand that can change (and probably will) between now and then. I emailed the CD to see if there were any tables left; I want to try to sell the A-10 and the Chaos 600 heli. If so, I'll see you there.

I snagged one table. Anyone wants to sell is welcome to snuggle up and split the cost of the table.
