Argh. Decisions, decisions. And right after I get that they'll release the F-15.
If you want to do a "lawn dart" the better choice would be the F-105. The F-86 is a grand flyer with just enough speed to do aerobatics and some nice fly bys.

Murphy's Law has it that we see the F-15 "in stock" right after we've maxed out the CC.

I ordered a couple of fuselages I've been patiently waiting for over the last 4-5 months! Finally! I can finally make her look brand new again! Happy Flying!

I took mine out to the field with me today.

It was dead calm here at home. Get to the field, wind's blowing 30mph. Damnit.

Flew anyway. YOLO.

Flew great. Love the way this thing handles wind. It wasn't my first time flying it in very strong winds, but these were the strongest winds I've flown it in. It just didn't care. 0 f#cks were given. It tracked perfectly, was blindingly fast downwind and floated in nicely for a gorgeous touchdown on the mains. Just like any flight.

She remains my go-to windy day flyer!

Congrats on a great windy day of flying.

I have gyros in many of my jets to assist in smoothing out windy conditions; this is one that doesn't need one.

It might be a bit nose heavy. Evenw ith my Admiral 2200s she's nose heavy and requires quite a lot of up elevator trim even with the packs pushed all the way back. But yeah, width and length-wise they should fit perfectly. Plenty of room.
