Hopefully, it will be DSM2 compatible and not their 2.4GHz offshoot.

Now that's gotta be TIGHT!!!......To land I have only 15' width to work with and about 25' in length...I've flown my 1400mm P-38, PZ ME-109, and PZ P-47 in this tight area as well...Just to convince myself that I can do it!!!......I also fly at night as I have lights on my micro Beast and Sbach...I have put the Sbach in the drink at night...Gotta get out the RC boat with a line on the back to circle around to pull it to shore...Dry it out and go again!!!.......

Nitro--I haven't heard about the generic AS3X...Like you, I hope that it's DSM2 or DSMX ready!!!...DSM2 at the very least...

OK let's just say that your back yard is a whole lot bigger than mine.. I have a hard time flying the heli's in it.. The yard at the cottage is bigger but I have all those trees I have to try and miss.. Hard to do with the Champ no way would I try the Sabre there.. It needs room to roam to be happy...

Here is a vid of my Champ---At night---Doing figure 8's around the trees......You can't see much due to it being at night but it's there none the less...Hmmm...Looks like we have a genuine pissing contest!!!......What else is there for grown men to do that fly toy airplanes...

What trees I didn't see any trees.. at least in my video you can see the trees...

Update took it all apart and found the motor is what s?@t the bed.
So has anyone come up with a replacement fan that I can install ?
If so can you direct me to where and please be specific because I do not have any edf knowlege as to sizing etc.
If I must change out the esc as well please direct me to this also.

Don't know if it's too late, since you've disassembled it somewhat, but contact whoever it is that you got it from and tell them what's wrong.

Tower Hobbies is real good about taking care of this kind of problem.

Dave from Hobbico frequents here and may be of some assistance to you.

Really Really dumb of me to cut before thinking of sending it back. Too late now.
I found it to be the motor because I swapped out the ESC and it did the same thing.
Swapped the original ESC back in and now swapped in a random brushless motor and it worked fine.So bad motor

OK,, now the question is what went wrong with it.. And is it going to happen to mine?? So far both are OK but #1 turns smoother/freer then #2 does when I blow on them.. Both were oiled the same way when new..

Dont know for sure what went wrong,
Anyone have thoughts on where to get a replacement motor, even my smallest heli mofor is too big

I ordered one of these I will report on how it works.

My opinion: The stock ESC is not up to the task with that fan. Maybe if you remove 1/2 of the rotor's blades, it'll be ok.

Better to Wait for Nitrocharged or Pdawg, or one of the "Olde Guarde" to weigh in. They're opinions will be much more reliable.
