Drew the hs 5485's are a good servo, can't beat the price. I have quite a few, no failures what so ever. Ya the weather here is cold too, only in the high 50's at least none of the white stuff.....ha ha. Sure like flying all year.

Good morning Mike, I will be putting the cowl and prop on shortly ) ...as soon as I finish my sausage and biscuit ) I have installed an E-flite power 60! It will definitely move the meridian along well. It looks like the weather is going to be nice today here in Sin City, so I might get a maiden in this morning ) My Hi Techs shipped this morning from Reno, so will be replacing the Spektrum servos very shortly.

I flew with a 14x8 today but have put on a 15x8 for tomorrow. I think a 14x10 or 15x10 would be better though.

15 x 10 would be good, but I don't have any. If you try the 15x 10 let me know how you like it.

Ok, thanks for the info Mike. I should have my new props by Monday and will update you on their performance. Did you have any problems with pop strikes on the 16x8s? I order a 14x12 as well.

Drew, I put bigger wheels on,took off the wheel pants,so no prop strikes.I fly on the desert ,the small rocks get in the wheel pants. I like the 15x8 the best so far.

Good evening Mike, hey those adjustments sound good. We have a pretty decent asphalt runway at our field and my 15x8 prop is very close to touching it. I hoping the props I ordered last week will be in soon. I flew the meridian again today and still love the way it flys.

The airfoil used is not symmetrical. It's a NACA 5 digit-type semisymmetrical section.
