Is the new Micro Mav the rebuilt delta version? Looks like it has a nice finish.

It looks like AS was the only one dressed for the weather.

Here is some video taken from the Micro Mav test flight. It's defintely faster than the micro Electra with its 12mm motor. On the otherhand the micro Mav and its 20mm motor and added lipo weighs an additional 4.5 oz. Either way it flew great with the bungee on launch and flaperons for landing. The sky was literally wet so its speed would be higher given better conditions. I believe the temp was 50. Great job CN!

thanks for posting those bret!

yeah, my red one was 16oz with the same power system, on smaller wings. the landing speed on the mico mav was very good i thought. its very smooth in the air, i need to change the LE's of the wing, they are a little too sharp, and its causing a snap at increased AOA, or sudden application of elevator.

lee, yeah, thats my delta lyte rebuilt havnt decided on a scheme yet, so i left it white, then we put some tape on it so i could see it in the air lol.

ps...this thing has a crazy glide ratio. its really clean and does not like to slow down. i had to do a number of approaches to get it to land where i wanted too, and i was still too long

Sweet!

Kudos for flying in that mess too! It looked cold, wet and windy.

That Mav just didn't want to come down.

Hi guys,

Well, having some time this week, I put the final markings on my electrolyte. Patterned after an FJ-2 fury scheme but unoriginally used my initials for some of the markings. In the process, I touched up the areas I had issues with the paint. All that's left is a quick satin clearcote to even it all out. Hoping to get some more flights in on Friday.

Looks great jetmang! When will you get to fly her again? The pylons with the hidden wheels look great as does the entire paint scheme!
