Mine has been started already

Just slight personal touches here and there but faithful to the original still. I think

Hey Dave, it would be good to draw one for 5gr- 10gr motors and tiny gear at around 12" span.

Any chance of that?

You have but to ask.

These are direct scale-downs of my drawing of Gary Jones' Deltoid. Direct scaling such as this yields the odd dimension values, and it's not for me to adjust anything to make the numbers come out more "even." Any errors or omissions are mine alone.

If anyone has better drawings to post I will gladly remove these. For the time being they can be something to start with. I just couldn't resist Tony's request.

I've been watching the sr71afan videos for a couple of weeks and the deltoid is definitely the one I want to build ! I also like his ultra slow flying planes - so graceful and relaxing !

I saw his videos and really wanted one also. I got the dimensions from him and went to cutting foam. It flies great and is very hard to land correctly. Of course the landing problems are not with the plane but the pilot. Here is a video of my maiden flight.
