I think pretty much any transmitter (and so presumably any of the "fake" transmitter controllers) will let you convert between mode 1 & 2 by switching the spring over. After that it's just a matter of setup in the sim...
Or did I misunderstand?

Sometimes you have to switch the stick over and then remap in the sim. Depends on whether there is a ratchet on only one side or not. The sim only USB 6 channels run about $20.
