agree! the red/white looks awesome (of course I'm a bit partial to that combo!) but add a little black and it'll really kick it up!

for bleed through, if you're planning on doing anything i wouldn't attempt a solvent solution. to me that'd most likely make a friggen mess. you could use a sharp straight edge and ever so gently scrape the unwanted paint off. but take care that you don't go through the bottom layer. could also sue a bit of steel wool to do the same. If you're clear coating you'll use a light steel wool to dull the bottom first anyhow.

Or you can pismo it and pretend those spots don't exist!

The red paint is nice and dry now, I'll be thinking about some masking tonight.
We've been having some great wind down here lately, I almost gave in and flew my Zephyr (again) before the painting is done. As far as clear goes, I've got some Krylon crystal clear gloss acrylic. Any other recommended brands that I can buy, shake, and spray? (cause I'm that kind of guy)

Tom did you paint the plane using krylon, just make sure that the clear is compatible with your paint, that's why I switched to auto paint. Ian

The white is Tamiya and the red is Modelmaster. I'm a-scared to use laquer,so I thought acrylic would be safer.

Just shoot your paint onto something, wait awhile then shoot the clear on it and see what happens, you have time before the maiden. It still would be awsome to have 12 Zephyrs maiden at one time. Ian
