RealFlight 7.5 lockup problem
Hi Guys. I just insatalled RealFlight 7.5 on to my home computer so I could brush up on my skills and also be able to "fly" when the weather is bad or other issues where I can't get to the field.
I love this sim!! I can fly pattern planes as well as sailplanes and slopers.
But in the last few days while I am flying on the program, the computer has locked up 5 times to black screen and can't be restarted except by a force quit. After I do that the computer comes on as normal and is ok until the next lockup.
Has anybody else had this issue?
My system is:
Dell 960 PC
Windows 7 Pro
Intel Core 3.3 GHz
64 bit OS
5.00 GB ram (4.87 usable)
Any info would be appreciated.
Sometimes computers starts to fail when overheated. I have to use my vacuum cleaner once in a while to make sure that all the vents and fans are not obstructed by dust buildups.
Remember when your playing FR7.5 your CPU and Graphics Card will heat up. up to a point it can start failing. There is a thin line in the temperature ranges that can change everything. Maybe just cleaning up those vents to keep the airflow will do the trick.
