Question
IR Block vs. IR Sensitive?

What's the difference with these types of CCD cameras? Is it more personal preference?

IR-Block_Brighter, Vivid colors,
Camera not good at night, ie...CMQ1993x.
(my favorite camera).

Thank you rclab! I was about to go for IR Sensitive but decided I *talk* about doing night flying but never actually do it so pulled the trigger on the IR Block.

CMQ1993x is my favorite cam.
I use on all my planes. 2.8mm lens.

I only use the Pz0420 on my FPVsummitTruck for night
crawling. (2.1mm lens)

but check this one out, it may replace the CMQ1993x,
a little upgrade.

That's very helpful! Thanks rclab. You wouldn't happen to have some night shot comparisons?

Multirotor Super Store has both of these types in stock at really good prices. Picked up an IR-Block one and definitely glad I did based on your video.

Night flying Pz0420 (IR-sensitive) with this LENS

Pop-Wing Night Flight (3 min 52 sec)

The CMQ1993x will never look this good at night,
I've tried with that Lens on.....CMQ is strictly a Day Camera,
it has better video quality in the Day compared to Pz0420.
