Yes, I sent a lot of messages to HK and they never answered or they simply erase my answers on FB or on their website. And now they blocked me and I cannot send to them anymore a message or a comment. Very easy for them to copy! And thousands of people don't know that those planes are copy!

I'm sorry for this, i will contact them personally. Anyway don't worry, they want to sell more planes as possible! Unfortunately we haven't a big distributor in the USA, but I'm sure the situation will change soon.

Sorry to hear about them copying YOUR Metis. I wish they would copy oxygen, ozone, or something more helpful to mankind.

Those guys are indeed quite dirty....

Anyhow, thanks for a cool design and a great flying model!

Looking for the best servos for this plane. Thinking Diamond 4.7s or JR188HVs? Any experience with either of these servos?

I know little as compared to others here.

My opinion is to have (for this model) servos which are fast (transit time below .10) and enough torque (to move control surfaces efficiently). All of this and these servos must be light in weight (6g or less).

I would also purchase from the 2 companies you mentioned for this application and run either on 2s voltage; you will be happy. I have mutilated both mentioned servos and made them lighter for fun. I need magnet wire* and I'll be modding them again.

Realistically the real Metis flies so well, lightening servos is not needed. I use the hacker and it has thrust galore. AUW is 5oz with a 2s 240 with plenty of time to "play".

Hitec makes 35's but never tried them. All my other hitec servos have been flawless in their applications.

*Is there a local easy way to obtain magnet wire? (Answer is radio shack) Thanks mattnat!

you are right, radio shack-the stuff they have is self fluxing so you just put the wire in the bead of solder and the heat burns off the enamel. makes it easy.
