Haven't even started drawing yet, but this will be my entry into the build-off.

Another great looking plane that I have never heard of. Looking forward to your build.

As a side note, digging thru the links and reading up on this plane, the one 257 wing that is left is in a museum in Prague. Here's a link:

Looks like a great air museum. I got excited because my daughter happens to be studying in Prague, but then read that the museum is only open May-October. Drat.

I did see that. What was unique was the conical wing spar. Good looking ship doomed by horrible quality...

I have yet to determine a wingspan. When I get that far I'll change thread title.

If I could find .40 size Fw190 retracts I'd use them.

Looks interesting Mark.

Nice looking airplane, love the wing shape and tubular spar.

Mark,

Were there multiple versions? The trailing edge of the airplane in the picture does not seem straight as in your 3 view.

DK

(EDIT: never mind, I followed the link in your first post, although the picture is still deceiving.)

Nice. Mark, I don't know where you find all these cool and obscure airplanes but keep the designs coming my man. I got my Jan 2016 MAN issue yesterday. In the issue is a plans guide and Mark has no less than 14 designs in here.

Looking through that web site, I can now see where you are getting your ideas. This one looks like it would make a good model:

Rivets Wing

Interesting looking plane. I agree, it looks like a Rivets Racer. From your comments do you predict a tip stall problem with this wing form?

I'm interested, cos I'm designing a 1/6 th Rivets and am worried about tip stalling problems with the swept back leading edge.

Wing sweep acts to stabilize, which is why so many jets with sweep in the wings have anhedral, to counter the natural stabilizing effects of sweep.
However, the high taper can cause issues. Typically, in something with this planform I'd go with 2 degrees washout. I also like a slightly more rounded LE toward the tip, and a slightly thicker by percentage tip airfoil, so maybe a 12% root, and 14% -15% tip.
These help to curb tip stalling and high-speed stalling at the tips.
As anyone with DH Comet can attest, sometimes theres just no substitute for keeping some speed on during landing.
The Rivets has very little stab area, a feature that makes CG very specific. The larger the tail volume then less specific the CG, to a point
