Yes it comes off easily with one screw. You will have to disconnect all the servo wires for the ailerons and retracts (if you choose to use retracts) each time.

I would say so. It's up to you.

Even if this is possible (without landing gear) for model of that size is not too practical as this is quite fragile plane

Fragile? I've seen foamies belly land all the time that weren't as well built like the Tucan. I do agree this plane should not be hand launched due to the size and weight.

Thanks everyone for all the quick responces
No Worries I figured it was too big to hand launch
and the extra weight and prop size would not make it very good for constant belly landing
grass is pretty thick where I I Fly even had one landing with a nose over with the Fun Cub yesterday LOL
Will just have to go to the sod farm to fly
I already have a Torque 820 powerset
Do you think that would be a nice combo on a 4 cell?

Check out the emax 2820/06 motor on HURC website and 60amp skypower esc. This is what I'm using and it's really nice on 4 cell batteries.

Maidened the second Tucano with retracts today.

She flies like on rails. Retracts work excellent, no problems there. with the wheels up and motor shut off, she glides extremely well and you could basically fly her hands off.

Yesterday I double-checked the CG again, with wheels up and down and she balanced out evenly. No extra weight or shifting of the battery was needed.

Absolutely love this plane. MPX, or actually Novaflight, came up with a great model, well thought out in design and construction.

Very fun to fly.

+1!

12x6 prop is nice, too.
