Full Scale...

If you keep your eyes to the sky on any given day you may just see some amazing full scale aircraft passing over the AMA Field.

Nice catch Gringo.

If you want to get really close make sure you attend the open house at Falcon Field. Arizona Model Aviators does a display at the event and the entire show is free of charge.

Here are a few I got this year.

Heck, during the winter all you have to do is sit off the runway at Falcon. Most days you'll catch the B-17 and B-25 numerous times!

I think they just had it a few weeks ago, so it won't be until next year.

But you could always go to the CAF museum. It's highly recommended.

Interesting photos!

I had mentioned the open house at Falcon Field earlier but I thought I may bring up the open house that William's Gateway had this year. They had not done one in a while but due to the growth they have had recently they did an open house just a few months ago. Hopefully, due to the success of this years, they will do it again. Like the open house at Falcon Field, it was free.

Just a couple photos from the event. There were lots of military planes in attendance and all were right there for you to view, not fenced off and hundreds of feet away.

Went to the Palm Springs Air Museum today. Great place and really nice folks running it. Here are a few pics I took. More to come if you like them.
