What is this plane? Who makes it?

It's a Midwest Aerostar, they came in .20, .40 and .60 sizes. The originals are out of production but there might be copies being sold... excellent flying planes. I started on an Aerostar .20 myself... brings back memories.

Yup, you can find them on Ebay in both sizes frequently.

The one you have there is the ARF version of the 40 size made in China . They also sold a modified version called the " Aero Bat ", super advanced trainer.
Midwest quit selling them about 2006 , in fact they pretty much quit planes all together at that time. There are still some kits out there but I doubt you can find an ARF of either one. If you do ~~ BUY IT ~~ they are great . ENJOY !!! RED

Thanks guys... I looked on ebay as I'm thinking of selling it... it has been flown a half a dozen times, has engine/servos/fuel tank... just no rx. What should I sell it for?

Well thats another problem, built planes usually don't sell well on Ebay, shipping is a killer because the box will be massive. I would try Craigslist first and sell it local.
