wanna trade?
I've done a couple of $200 trades (engines) and as I consider that "high dollar",I'll admit the stress level is a little higher.
Trusting a Trader and his rating comes into play here.Read some of his posts, check his feedback, and go for it if you're comfortable. Mine both worked out, well for both of us.Do ALL the safeties available...Insurance,a SIGNED delivery confirmation, and the best packing job you ever did. Communicate the day you ship, and the expected delivery date. Do your shipping as if it's a single deal, and it should be okay. |

ive done lots of trades online and have not had issues yet
some were 200 and up I just shipped insurred with tracking ,signature required most the time we ship the same day ,sometimes i have sent mine first I look for atleast one feedback on a previous trade, but not always keep in mind you need patience (usa to canada and vice versa can take 10 days even if it says 4) I have had some flat rate boxes take 3 weeks. Always get a final item list that is agreed on and give one too! Check and recheck before you ship , pack it well as mentioned above by other members here Give all details good or bad about the items so theres no surprizes later when they get there most the time a good trader will also do the same in return dont hesitate to ask a question no matter how silly it may seem and one more note on the matter, if they seem overly pushy to complete the trade or avoid awnswering simple questions think twice before deciding |

I've done many trades from small to high dollar items. On the higher value items (just like I do with Buying and Selling) I provide a phone number and ask for the same. It builds a much better rapport and a certain level of trust.
If they don't want to provide a number, I may walk away....but that's me. |

I've setup one trade on here, I shipped out my portion of the trade and the other party could never provide proof that they shipped their part. Long story short after I called the other party on their dishonesty I received my items back, but not sure if it was from the other party or the post office.
Given the right circustances I would attempt a trade again because I know the honest people outnumber the dishonest ones. |
