Hey Markus,

can you send me the complete dimensions of the plane? I can feed my program with these and give you the correct CG.

greetings!

If your CG calculator is accurate & your data is sound then it should be right.

Thank you Andre and DD,

here the data of my plane:
Length: 173cm
Wingspan 168cm
(the rest you find in my PDF)

Iīve tried several cg calculators and got different results so I hope of a confirmation of one of you experts.

Thanks again
Markus

For my calculation i need the complete horizontal stabilizer dimensions and the distance to the wings leading edge.

If you already used this program you can trust it. It never let me down!

greetings!

Hi,
attached you find dimensions of horizon stabilizer.
Distance from leading edge of main wing to leading edge of horizontal stabilizer is 910 mm.

Hope thatīs enough information.

Alright, I think i have reasonable results now. The center piece is a little wider than the fuse to compensate for the wing box and the lift of the fuselage.
The CG the program suggests is a little nose-heavy when you compare it with the one you have.

Thats because your geographical solution is just a rough guess. It doesnīt take the horizontal stab into account.
Anyhow you are on the safe side if you place the CG at 270mm from root leading edge.

More important is the choice of airfoil and wing incidence. I guess that you are using the ClarkY11,7% and put the flat bottom horizontally or parallel to the fuselage longitudinal axis. If the horizontal stab is parallel to the bottom you will have a "difference of incidence" of about 2 degrees, which is perfect for our airliners.

If I can help you with more info, just let me know!

EDIT: forgot the pics
