160 Hv ice lite mounting question
On the pcb there are what appears to be heavy buss bar material spaced about .015 apart, on each side of the esc top and bottom. Question is can I attach a heat sink across them? And, should I worry about shorting between their prospective gaps or should I maintain some insulation between them?

I want to machine a T shape heat sink, hollow the trunk, glue it to the rails, using the sinks for mounting the ESC to an aluminum firewall so the motor/esc is a complete unit.

I forwarded your question to engineering at Castle. I can not recommend altering the ESC but I have ask one of the engineers to follow up with you... Thanks
