Today, I have ordered this motor. The stock one vibrates much. It kills my auto pilot.
I hope I will be happy

Cheers

FPV Raptro Build

Hi All,

I have my plane built up, Spektrum H3020 digital MG servos, Eflite 420 heli motor and Dualsky 45A ESC.

The damned elevator control rod is on a 45* angle has anyone got any suggestions please? If I mount the servo at the rear where is best and please if anyone has photos direct me to where I can see them. This is a real problem and ANY advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

I just bent mine to a better angle. The horns are crap. Be sure to put some fuel tubing to hold the clamp tight. Works ok.

Okay thanks. I already replaced all the horns with DuBro's and I'll see if any other ideas come in, but bending sounds fair. I have some tubing ready to go, but was also thinking of putting better rods with metal clevises - what do you think?

Did bending it affect the control much or at all?

thanks again...

AS this is a slow flier and not a kilo-watt powered aerobatic/speed-racer, the rods are good enough. As long as you don't go over 30-45 deg bends, I doubt that the bends will affect it at all. I have mine bent to fit also.

Yes. I still have stock stuff. I can pull tight loops if needed.

Thanks mate I didn't look at it like that. Have also been told I can bend it near the end to reduce the load so maybe a little from column A and a bit from column B...

Seedo, do you have any pictures of how you have the motor mounted? or what you had to modify to get it to fit the tower?

Thanks,

Charlie

Hi cody069

Thanks for the reply. I haven't had any trouble with the original at this stage. Just curious how to go about setting it? What brand is it?

Regards

Jason
