Thanx Ron. I asked about the hands on the other 46" thread. I tried hands on my large 3D Flyguy and was disappointed. We've had a lot of reports that they work well on the 2D Flyguys. Please share video.

Salut Magic,

Hi Magic

If your CoG is as on the plan, it must be good.Fly guy has strange forms so CoG can have a strange place in your eyes.
Do Hand lauches in a high grass field to improve CoG and sart triming. You'll see quickly if he want to stand up (boots heavy...Try Tongs ) or if he want to Dive (Hat is to heavy...try a swiming one! :P)

Your English is terrible.
But nobody cares.
Because you built a TwinGuy.

Congrats! Awesome, and I hope someone can get back to you with some ideas.

I think the CG issue is caused by the servos and receiver being in the back. Also I think I see carbon across the body in the back at several places. I can't tell if you used Depron, but if you used another material it could be causing balance issues too. The CG needs to be 1-2 cm in front of the top the notch. The top of the notch is the part of the cutout closest to the head.

I hope this translates well. Best, Otto

Never heard of a 16" Flyguy. Sounds close to the measurement of the toy from Walmart.

I was in Target today and the Iron Man flying toy was on clearance for $24, the Target web site shows them priced at $70.

I built a 15" Flygirl but couldn't get it too fly. I built it from 2 mm Depron and it was too floppy. Need to try again.

I also built a 1/2 size of Otto's 46" plan. Flys great. All 3 mm Depron.
