Roy Clough's "Martian Spaceship"

Excuse me for posting on BLIMPS ...but my "aircraft doesn't fit anywhere. It is a glow-powered Blinp-like Spaceship like Buck Rodgers flew in in the 1940's movies.
Skip Ruff of Taft, CA has modernized Roy Clough's MARTIAN SPACESHIP which was first a free flight. I have one half built but lost the plans 2 years ago.

If anyone can help , it will be greatly appreciated.

I need to know the location of the Center of Gravity. AND how long was Skip RUff's ship.
I have a video of it flying at Taft. No wings at all - it is a lifting body and it flies very well. He used a 0.25 cu in glow on his 2.5 pound airship
I have the written instructions but need CG location + length.
THANKS

Major Tom

Major Tom, THANKS a lot for the info. This Martian Spaceship is one of a kind Lifting Body. This will be my 4th lifting body RC.

BTW, what does bad form mean? I have posted almost 1000 times on Modeling Science and other threads and this is the first time I heard about some "rule" or implied urging to not post a question on more than one set of threads.
I suppose I am ignorant of etiquette on RCGroups. But my plane Did Not Fit anywhere.
Please forgive me for showing my ignorance Major Tom.... I was just a Staff/Sgt
in the USAF so I'm not privy to the nuances. Sorry! ;

Major Tom : Roy Clough's Plans

I appreciate your posting address of the Original Martian Spaceship.

I did post originally that I am building Skip Ruff's modernized and much larger version of Roy Clough's 36" ship.
Skip Ruff has a lot to do with large FF contests at TAFT,CA. He was a prolific designer 25 years ago and he (after some paonstaking R&D + many test flights, finalized his very flyable Martian Spaceship. I have the video on VHS.

Thanks agin for your interest & effort.

When I used the search function it revealed that you posted basically the same question on three forums. If you click on the "report" function in the upper right, the resulting screen will have a pull down. The second warning infraction here is "cross posting"; putting the same question on multiple forums. I doubt your three will rise to any level of attention but some newbies have somehow posted the same question on dozens of threads.

And thank you for your service Sergeant! Honored to have served in the blue with you. In my little squadron my troops knew that they made the job happen. My job was to see that everyone was fed, bedded and to faid all heat as necessary

Nice article in Model Builder on it "back then" with a color shot in flight on the cover.

Texas B,

According to the linked PDF plans it looks like the CG is about 11 5/8" aft of the firewall, with a roughly 1 1/4" range. Let us know how she comes out. Interesting to say the least.

It's amazing, i don't think MARTIAN SPACESHIP can fly stablety with an engine at its nose.
