Phase 3 f16 painted with rattle cans
Hello, just wanted to share my build with this phase 3 f16.
For paint I used VALSPAR rattle cans and also their primer. I first brushed the foam with water based polyurethane to protect it from getting chewed by the paint. The black patterns are done with a paintbrush using Testors paint. It's almost ready to give it some clear coats

I have to say honestly spray paint technology has come a LONG way since the old typical ball spray job.
I just restored a Rossi .45 with VHT series engine paints, and Duplicolor engine enamel which now both use a patented tip that is literally just as smooth at laying paint down as my Iwata airbrush or HVLP gun. Check out my pics. The engine features base coat clear coat on the head, and muffler header, and the muffler is strictly engine enamel.
All parts were cleaned in my Ultrasonic cleaner. The brass was then polished with White Diamonds polish. Painting is becoming a forgotten art in RC. I love your finish Excellent job!
