I suggest you use one of the popular motor/prop calculator programs available on the web.

4S probably won't help you unless the motor is currently under propped. It will just overheat the motor and force you to go with a smaller diameter prop which will put you pretty much right back to where you started.

Make sure you are using low pitch propellers like 12-4 or similar.

I would measure the motor current and then decide if 25C is adequate.

I would also check to see if you are overheating your motors already.

Each motor can give 110 watts separately, props are 12 inches but bad quality one.
Still I am surprised that it does not lift. 4S and better props should give better results.

Also, battery is only 25C. Maybe too weak...

What sorts of watts / grams do we need here for hovering ?

at that sound/rpm , it should be hovering... and sounds a bit like the props are on backward.

It may be they are ...or not....but just in case their not, The rounded part of the prop goes up.... and concave (scallop) side goes down

Just a hunch based on what I heard

Exactly 600g now including 4S 1000ma battery.

2827/35 roxxy motors made for either 3S/12" prop or 4S/10" prop.
I have tried 4S/12" props, it does take off but motors are overheating.
4S/10" props just enough to take off but at full speed.

My el cheapo 10" props are not good enough, I guess I should go for good old 10x5 Graupner to get more efficient work.

For those who'd have the same super slow servos problems, once flashed with Kaptain Kuk 1.6, aileron servo now acts normally from the start in manual mode, and seems to act logically in auto-level mode.

Yaw works perfectly.

So i guess it was a factory firmware issue,
