Just an FYI for those interested in how Jiri Baudis makes his Ceres sub-spars.
Likely made en-masse from a big sheet of 4mm balsa, faced with uni-carbon on one side and light 'glass on the other.
Uni-carbon is laid-up 90 deg to the balsa grain. Don't know about the 'glass bias.
Then cut to suit the depth required and cut so the uni-carbon runs from top to bottom skins and the balsa simply has the grain running root- to- tip.

On cyril and fosa, he replaced the balsa by rohacell.
And puts vertical uni carbon on both sides of rohacell.
The sub spar and the flap/aileron spar are made the same way.
