I'm biased, of course, but I think you could do much worse than the CX2 Phenomenal build quality, great vendor and community support, excellent handling and battle-proven - you certainly get your money's worth with this model.

They certainly can handle big throws

I'm not certain of the price, but somewhere in the range of $1400 +, I think.

Thanks bro! I found a pristine one for $750 and its getting shipped with a replacement 2 meter from Thomas -

now I just need a back up - i might consider that blaster 3 if it looks like it will hold up to my throwing.

I do not see any reason why there should be a problem with rescheduling the trials. As far as I'm concerned its just a weather delay, there not canceled, so I do not see any reason that they have to be approved again.

Continue with your new plans and let me know the new date when you can (no rush). I will confirm with the board and let you know if anything further is required.
How does rescheduling the Trials for early May, 2013, sit with everyone?

Works for us, but we'd prefer it's not the Victoria Day weekend, when we usually have our first C/L contest of the year. But then again, the holiday weekend might not be a bad idea as it would give us an extra day to play with weather-wise.

Ron,

Keep in mind that the last weekend of May is also F3J in the rockies and I voted you as team captain for "The fraser valley Lawn darters" as well as F3K TS organizer and F3J TS scoring and back up CD - P:

Thanks, Dave - I was worried that I was going to have nothing to do that weekend

Regarding the Trials, I was thinking earlier in the month - first or second weekend in May.

Thoughts?
