RC Hanglide - I am impressed with your model. Don't give up yet.
I believe you are shifting the pilot for pitch control. This may be too little as full size hang gliders weigh about half of pilot weight. This might mean you have to use the ailerons as elevons as well as shiftng the pilot weight.

I see ailerons. This is good. People will tell you that hang gliders don't have ailerons and they turn when the pilot shifts his weight sideways. What the don't mention is that when the pilot shifts his weight, the sail shifts too and twists so that hang gliders roll by wing warping. Ailerons are just another form of wing warping.

I guess you have the reciever and battery in the pilot so you must run wiring up the hangstrap to run the aileron servos. If you use an elevon mix on the ailerons, you will need 2 channels and 2 servos. The elevons or ailerons will have to be reflexed to create some pitch stability.

Test fly in a forgiving setting, long grass and gentle slope. You will probably have difficulty finding a stable pilot hang point so you need to have a forgiving setting. Maybe snow would be more likely than long grass right now.

RC Hanglide , when you write that it doesn't work, are you referring to pitch or the ailerons?

If pitch not working... maybe your control bar position is incorrect. This depends on the hangstrap fastening position on the glider which depends on the desired CG of the glider (including the "pilot").

Considerring this messy situation, it might be a good idea to switch to elevon control with a fixed CG as a temporary test phase. This will allow you to adjust the pilot position to change the CG. Once you are satisfied with the pilot postion and settled on a hangstrap location, you could adjust the control bar (A frame) so that the pilot's arms have the ability to shift the pilot both forward for speed and back fore flaring. Warning: flaring probably won't work at this scale and your airfoil.

Remember, this is a flying wing, so it needs reflex in the elevons or washout with sweep to give it pitch stability.

Sweep would be good, but not really an option for your already built wing. It may still work for you with enough reflex in the ailerons. I think your wing was already a flying wing but I believe the pilot drag below the wing is a destabilizing influence because it would increase quite a bit at speed pulling the nose down. This is only a guess. Don't give up too easily, I think it could be trimmed.

The reflex, and/or sweep with washout, creates a nose up tendency with increased speed so the aircraft will seek a trim speed. This function is normally prvided by the horizontal stabilizer (tailplane).
