Hobbywing 2-6S Platinum-30A-Pro OPTO for 6S hex or a different ESC?

Hey,
I want to get these motors:

SUNNYSKY X4108S 380KV

and these ESC:
Hobbywing 2-6S Platinum-30A-Pro OPTO

I want to flash them with BLHeli.

Would you recommend those and the 30A or shoud I get different ESC for my 6S FY680 setup?

The only thing I can say about them is I have used Hobbywing platinum 2-6s rated esc on 6s (80A) and they worked without any problems. Factory firmware though which wasn't as responsive as the new firmware. I hoped to pick up one of the Pentium versions for simonk experimenting but neither local LHS had any.

I am having trouble right now with this ESC. Only one though. Can't get it to "see" throttle.

HI artemen,
still no copter on my side, except for everything else... ;-)

It seems there are much better motors available. Better bearings, thicker axis. Looks better. And can handle 13" props on 6S with very high efficiency.

I guess I will order this set:
http://www.hobby-wing.com/arris-m680...per-combo.html

Features a quality frame, the new motors + 13" props.

(You still get the FY680 super combo with the Arris 4010 (need to write them a comment during your order)

I wouldn't go for the SunnySky any more!!!
But go for the Hobby-Wing Platinum Pro 30A. They can be flashed with BLHeli and seems to work perfectly on 6s and high pole count motors.

Thank you so much for your feedback.
