Thanks.
The grass on the maiden was fairway quality. No problem at all.
These are the wheels:

I did not remember correctly. They are actually Nieuport wheels.

Power came back last night after 80 hours without. Lots of wind and downed trees but no personal issues. Contrary to you guys, we are not familiar with hurricanes.
I've looked at FPV but maybe later.
This will essentially be a "touch & go" trainer, instead of everytime walking up to the SkySurfer or breaking props on the SlowStick.

Unfortunately I don't have a recorder, it is on my list of things to buy. Just got finished at the field, and all I can say is that this plane is awesome for fpv and beats my popwing hands down. I will work out a way of recording the screen with my phone tomorrow.

Interesting place to fly. Lots of hard surfaces.
Dou you fly it off the screen, goggles or LOS?

I use the screen to fly, I was looking under the phone for this flight.
It's the only place I can fly where I could retrieve the plane should I crash everywhere else here is fairly built up and residential.
I would love some goggles but right now I'm just starting out in fpv and have about 5 hours of experience.
I'm starting out simple and eventually ill have the whole lot, long range, osd, goggles, GPS etc! It's a very expensive learning curve.
