I could be mistaken but that horizontal stab should be a bit farther forward.

Yeah, you are right, but to be fair hardly any 'scale' 3D models from any of the top manufacturers stand up to comparison to the real plane on which they are supposedly based. They are more about capturing the spirit of the real thing rather than being an actual scale replica.

I guess that's one of the issues I have then. The mxs has a forward mounted stab and in my opinion that is what makes the mxs a mxs.

The pitch authority on it is very high.

wow killer price! and if you stay on the page long enough they offer it to you for $153.14
the fit/finish and build all look top quality!
the straight trailing edge large elevators look very much like the EF MXS

problem is shipping is 60-80 dollars to Colorado. So then we're almost at the price of a 3dhs or EF plane of same size. And what do we do if it's damaged en-route? Too bad it's not offered in the US warehouse.

i was curious and just checked....

3dhs 57" 330SC shipped to my door = $320.49

HK 57" MXS shipped to my door = $210.48

a $110 difference is a pretty decent amount in my book.

and as with most of the airplanes, im sure it willbe in the US warehouse in a few months.

Plus not everyone lives in the USA. In fact over 95% of the world's population don't! For the 95+% the price difference is much greater.

But you do need to offset that against poor HK customer service and zero part availability, plus the uncertainly of if it will be as good as it looks in the video or a piece of junk .
