I haven't added anything for waterproofing other than sealing the heads and exhaust pipes, (my electronics are more or less waterproof) I just put the stock lid on as tight as I can with the clips. It gets some water in it, but not enough to sink it if it's only upside-down for a few mins. Then you just pull the antenna tube out and drain the water out thru that hole. I also managed to fit 2 of those air-filled plastic packing pillows in the nose in case it really tries to sink. They also keep the battery from launching forward off the velcro if you hit something.
I am considering the adhesive foam/plexi method though, so I spend less time pouring water out and more time on the water.
