Have some 1/8" craft ply floating around or can hit a lowes type place for some plexiglass, what material is preferred?

For a Lite build, I use 6mm Depron for the fins and elevons.
I've built about a dozen Stryker-Lite's this way.
They all were around 8-9.5ozs flying.

Haven't seen it done since, but what I did way back when was build "Swiss Cheese" in 2005.
Took 1/2" and 3/4" hole saws and went at it. 92 holes in the wings and 15 in each vertical tail.
Used Handiwrap to cover it. No expense spared.

Did shed 80 grams from the stock weight. Not recommended for any high speed stresses.
