The HH team showed up in full force at SEFF today. They had 2-3 at a time in the air for a good part of the afternoon. They also finally had a fan unit on display and I was able to take accurate measurements so I can get a CAD drawing done.

That's the amazing part about all these shows! I feel like I'm in the 1950s since it seem that nobody ever bring a video camera with them.

At least we got some awesome pictures...

Oh well, I'm getting one anyway, so I guess seeing it in flight is not that important.

I didn't take any video but that doesn't make them any less impressive in flight.

I saw Bigfoot yesterday, but nobody believes me since I didn't take a video or pic.

I have a HD cam on my phone, a HD camcorder in the car and a 12mp camera. Oh well next time I'll take some pics

While we wait for the new stuff......

Here's an interesting video:

F-35B Ship Suitability Testing (3 min 5 sec)

"This video link is fresh (for the public).

It was made just 6 weeks ago in the Atlantic, just off Newport News (Hampton Roads), Virginia.

These are the latest sea trials of the F-35B on the USS Wasp.

They were very successful, with 74 VL's & STO's in a 3 week period.

The media and the program critics had predicted that we would burn holes in the deck and wash sailors overboard.

Neither of which happened. You will notice a sailor standing on the bow of the ship as the jet rotates.

That was an intentional part of the sea trials.

No catapult... No hook... It's a new world out there!

The shape and scope of warfare worldwide just changed."

WOW!!!...IMPRESSIVE to say the least!!!...Did ya see how much down elevator was required after leaving the deck to counter act the massive amount of thrust the thrust vectoring was able to achieve???...Again---WOW!!!

Frankly I am finding all this over premature hype is getting very boring. I have had this plane on order for three months now and still no delivery date advised. HH, this is not acceptable.

I understand that Chuck is producing his F-35 unboxing video right now, commissioned by the Pentagon, and RC is about to release some BIG Babbelbatts which will increase performance.
