You have to lift off quick. Slowly raising the throttle will do this
Note I have scrapped this frame due to vibration issues. I can have a look at you hj file too. Please post a picture of your system and a video. This will help a lot with troubleshooting. |

I 1st give a bit of throttle to see which way it is going to tip, and then as I take off I adjust and get it into the air quickly. Difficult to explain, but I have used this method on all the FC's I have flown, as they all tend to tip one way or another, until you get it off the ground. I just think it is too slow in the other 2 modes, as the motors rev up.

When I start up, first time for the day, I'll take off in manual mode 1. It feels slow to respond to stick, so I throttle hard then flick over to gps auto hover mode before nearly stacking it. It's as if it's a bug. If i land, start over in mode 1, works perfectly. Perhaps I need to go into gps hover mode first before taking off in mode 1

My RC (Futaba 12FG) seems to be very touchy now in particular left or right. I only need to just about touch the stick and the aircraft will go in the correct direction...but at what speed. Consequently when the stick is released the aircraft will continue in the chosen direction for just a little longer before it settles down to a halt. The control does not seem to be as nice and smooth to operate as it was before a recent crash/rebuild. I guess I have done/set-up something incorrectly but I cannot see what it could be at this time...anyone got any ideas ?
Regards David. |
