Himax 5.33 gear box, what prop?

After a recent crash and damage to my Himax 6.60 gear box, I have been forced to switch to the 5.33. At this time I am using an APC 10x7 prop. It seems to power my GWS MUstang ok, but doeas anyone know if this is the best prop for this gear ratio? The setup I have is a 14oz GWS Mustang, 5.33 gear ratio on a Himax 2015-4100, and a 3 cell 1320mah Thunder Power lipo. I would use Motocalc, but my subscription has run out.

Thanks

Would a 10x5 prop be best for this setup?

I would start with the GWS 10x6 HD prop - not the slow-flier! That should keep your amp draw in the 9-10amp range.

Are the GWS HD props better than the APC props I am using? The thing I did not like about the GWS props is how they bend and flex.

GWS RS props are very flimsy, but the GWS HD series are about as robust as the APC SF's (perhaps even better because they are a bit less brittle).
