Flat spins with the Hobby Zone Super Cub

Thought I'd re-post this video just for fun--

Flat-spinning the Hobby Zone Super Cub--Demo--1 (5 min 24 sec)

The aircraft is not completely stock--some weights have been added at the tail and also at the outboard wingtip... otherwise it is stock...

So I picked up this e-flight 480 and motor mount out of a e-flight 300. I notice that the bolt pattern matches up for the top 2 screws. Has anyone ever tried this mount? I tired to search it to no avail.

I'm not quite sure of your question. I assume you want to mount this motor on the Super Cub. I think you might have to dump that plastic mount if the holes don't line up with the fire wall.

Most of us (including myself) has this motor mount for our Super Cubs when we switched to a BL set up.

I now have a aluminum version in hand but am determined to further look at this 300 extra mount going in. When I get more time I will check the angles to make sure it's correct or if I am going to mount it on top of a ground off existing mount. Been sunny here on the west coast which a dream as most know all it does is rain in the winter lol.

Flat spin

Thanks for sharing that it reminds me of the first flat spin I did. I was flying my brushless float SC at lake george N.Y. showing off for the family flying inverted and went into a inverted flat spin. I had no clue what to do tried rudder and elevators and nothing was working, I was losing altitude fast so I gunned the throttle hard did a half loop and pulled out a foot or too above the water. Everyone was so impressed I got a little applause. Then I went back to my cabin and changed my shorts.

Yeah, as I recently mentioned, there is more than one version of Gary's HZSC mount. These were the two available at the time of these posts...
