I would like to do some Doppler runs between my 6X10 and 7X10 folders...They are both awesome....I have found my 1800mah 6S like the 6X10,and 2200mah 6S like the 7X10......I need to try them on my 2700mah 6S and see what happens.

My hubs are all 8mm, the 6x10 and 7x10 are for 42mm centre pieces.

I was going to run the 6x10 at the Ampfest on 9S with my Ninja, but instead plumped for a fixed APC 6.25x10

When looking for windings to push to edge of destruction; 1.5RY is my least favorite.

I'm sure 1.5RD is more robust than 1.5RY (1.5R).

For a given number of turns, KV comparison is as follows:

D = 1.72 Y (maybe closer to 1.75?)

So if a 1Y turn has a KV a bit too high, people may want to consider 2D at almost 1.75 times KV of 2Y , but lower KV than 1Y.

Here is a vid with 2700mah 65C 5 cell,7X10 DUP Folders.....Nice combo for sporting around....this was the first time trying it,so short flight...there was a good amount left in the pack.

LOL, note the Max is not officially 5KW, but I suspect they'd handle 6+. I think you'd hit the max RPM (e.g. tip speed) before they broke....

hk 3026 1900kv,5s,27043rpm,130a,7x10....not to sure wether thats static,logged in flight,or prop calc?

Except i'll be on dup's 6x10's so amps will drop abit,mayb 120a? Also can source motor in n.z and at $140nz its cheap..
The other motor i could consider is the mega 22 35 1.5er,but its 50g heavier and dunno if it'd give same performance? can't find much data on it..
