Walkeras mini multirotors go FPV

Walkera is going to enter the FPV world trough the BIG door. After announcing the Hoten-X fpv now they are announcing the same for all their mini multirotors:

I can't wait to get my hands on them

How much for all that? I think that tx is $250+? Plus LB, spares, and cam w\ transmitter,....i bet almost $500?

Looks promising though. Walkera are still the rtf groundbreakers.

very cool their definitely on top of the micro quad game. Looks very very cool. The small integrated camera rx is just what I'm looking for. It will be interesting to see what they come in at on their price point.

The devo F7 hasn't still reached the market but sure they are creating the hunger.

It will be interesting to know the exact channels the transmiter is using to see which receivers can work with.

$368 is a bit much. A futaba 9c with a small $30screen (you can attach to the top of the transmitter...) and $20 receiver will cost about $200 total.

Nice move from Walkera indeed.
But this TX is soooo old-styled and ugly with those round and square shapes and big phallic antenna!!!
Why don't they make products with clear lines, without all this bling bling!?

" big phallic antenna"

You said "big phallic antenna". LOL.

Well, at least it should be able to keep a signal up.

The good thing is that the devo F7 has video and audio output so you can use your goggles
I hope walkera makes use of their telemetry systems with some kind of OSD (on screen display), until now it was useless, who can look at the screen and control the aircraft at the same time? not me.

I'd be happy with the fpv "module" to add to my existing QR. I have added 5.8g fpv to my Ladybug SH-6043 nano, and it works fair (the mechanics of the tx is really crappy). But the QR is at the top of my current "fleet" of nano quads in it's flying smoothness. The Ladybug, not having connectors for the motors, allowed me to add the fpv to the "shell", so that I could transfer it to another quad in seconds.

I haven't came up with a way to add fpv to the QR yet.

Awesome!
I just received a similar cam and tx and I am in the process of fixing it to my space walker.

I'm really looking forward to the time when I'm good enough to fly around my house fpv, watching my bigscreen tv, using a nanoquad. These things are nearly indestructible. They're a great way to log flight time with fpv, without breaking the bank I just can't think of a more fun way to fly. FPV is the future, IMHO, and Walkera, obviously, recognizes that. My hat's off to them for moving in that direction.
