Unsure if you know Voodoo, but watch that ESC on anything over 4s. 5s you really should look at getting it modified to be safe.

Lots of people can help with it or can swap your controller board for a modified one.

It's all good (i did read that,and thanks for getting my back in case i did not),4S with this set-up should keep me buisy for a bit while i learn what is really going on Heck,i was even thinking about starting on 3cell (but that thought is long gone).......I am still way more conerned about drilling holes in the top of the wing,to the servo bays for the first time,seeing how i have never done a control horn on top of the Ail So not thinking about power right now My new Carbon toy is getting to know my Dremel very well tonight.

Pfffffffft ! I was waiting for those packs for a while for my EF-1,and to use on the Swist while i was getting to know it.But i could not wait any longer...So i ended up getting the 2650 4cell 30C....but i will tell you what,they have worked great so far,i will use them for now in the X and EF-1....The X will get new packs down the road,the EF-1 will always feed off trash

Pretty sure the 4S 40C 2650mah are out of production. We shall see......

They are the smallest 2650mah pack I have ever seen, much less at 40C.

I would like a couple for a Jolt I am setting up for a friend.

Sooooo,is the L-bend supposed to move in the vert stab and make a knocking noise as it deflects the elev ? I put a small balsa block to help guide the link,but it still makes that noise,and it is driving me crazy

Doug vs X-Plane tail...Take 2...ACTION ! I am hell bent on making my wanna b Lenny linkage work ....So i removed my old control horn,and re-did one where the hole is closer to the elevator,and made it with a much thicker carbon plate....i also made a new linkage,i noticed when i got home that the 2-Corona w/limes might have efected my bending ability last night....not that the other one was bad,it was just worth redoing to see if the Corona played any part ...OK,got to go put my mask back on and cut some more carbon..On a side note "You know you are assembling a Very Kick Azz Plane when you have to wear a mask,or it could kill you"

OK,found my problem with my first attempt at getting the X-Plane tail functioning,and i was way off....problem ended up being that my Corona needed a much larger Lime wedge ....Cause she is now smoooooooth and tight.I think i will continue with the Z & L bend on the main wing,cause i just dig the simplicity of it,but at the same time it just scares the heck out of me when i look at it.

I modified my Z bender tool to make Z bends with shorter middle part of "Z"
OMG What I just said? Is it clear?
What it does now -Z part of Z bend is not wondering sidewise in the servo control arm making linkage tighter.

Now you are getting the hang of this......wish you would have posted that hours ago ....and yes,i made a new servo arm and z-bend....I am amazed at how nice this came out the second time,all is VERY tight,and smooth as can be .This is the FUN part about being a NOOB....just learning along.

Yuri, could you let us know what you did to your Z-Bend pliers to do that? I cant wait to get my new X Plane from you, will be reading this thread end to end.
